The Association for Assistive Technology “Open the Windows”, in order to enable continuity in its work with children with disabilities during the pandemic with Covid-19, in partnership with UNICEF and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, in April 2020 created the platform Online service platform, where experts from the association “Open the Windows”, “Kreativa Istok” and “Logomedicus” offer high-quality and individualized education for children with disabilities.
The platform delivers four types of services for children, namely: individualized support for computer and internet use, early development stimulation, speech therapy services and counseling support for parents / guardians. In providing services, the person-centered approach is applied, an approach that emphasizes the best interest of the child-user and his personal development.
